N-400 June 2015 Filers

Received my fingerprint appointment letter in the mail. 7-15-2015. please update. :-)

For some reason they scheduled me at the Southwest Houston location. In the past when I did green card renewal I went to the Houston location on 45 south, near Hobby airport. The southwest location is not even in Houston. Oh well, nothing I can do about that I guess. But I might try to go a day earlier. I'll let yall know if the southwest location allows early walk-ins.

The SW location (you're right, it's in Sugar Land, not Houston) is much nicer. It's clean and the staff has always been friendly. Leave your phone in your car. I definitely prefer it to the SE location. I assume you'll be navigating by GPS, but if it helps, the office is on the north east corner of Hwy 6 and Voss Road (Sugar Land's Voss Road... there's another one in Houston) right behind a Burger King and right next to a kebab restaurant.

A few years ago I lived on Voss road by San Felipe so, yeah I know about the two voss roads. I had no idea there was a Sugar Land biometrics location. I'm assuming it's relatively new? I grew up there in the 80s and 90s, never noticed it.

Good to know they are friendly. I'm in court for a month starting on July 15 so if I can go a day earlier and the staff is okay with it, then that would help me out.

If possible, take some sort of evidence of why you can't go on your scheduled day.

A letter from the courthouse (if that's where you work) or jury summons if that's what you'll be doing, etc.
