Oh yea....that's right! So I guess your interview will be at the embassy in London yea? Anyway, hang in there --- you will be done before you know it and thank you! I for one am glad I am skipping the biometrics process since I did it twice last year :)

Hey! I am filing under section 319b - so I am in the UK just now. The documentation asks you to file at VSC for some reason. Section 319b waives the physical presence requirement and allows you to pick the field office. I believe it's quite a difficult category to file under but it's my only option right now as I don't want to lose my LPR- which I will soon, as my USC spouse is working abroad until Dec 2016.

Congrats on your NOA!

No unless you are military you have to come over to the U.S. for the interview- but they let you do the biometrics in London.

That's great you've skipped them if you've done them already! I hope you didn't have to pay the fee or they refunded you!

I last did mine in August 2014 at the POE in Toronto- would be amazing if I didn't need to go to London again!! But I'll feel lucky right now if someone just accepts my application!!! hehe

Oh bloody h**!!! You have to fly all the way for the interview?!?!?! Well am sure the interview period will double as a vacation time for you. Since you did your Bio last August, I am guessing you will skip it too since it is not even up to a year since you last did it. Per the Bio fee, we both know USCIS ain't refunding nothing...that money is gone :)

You can call USCIS and ask to speak to a 2nd-Tier rep to inquire about your case if you don't mind staying on the telephone for a minute....

Was an hour early at my biometrics yesterday.
Big room, not even 10 people waiting, receptionist handed me a clipboard, and booklet. Filled out the paperwork, handed it back, and he said, thanks, here is your number and she is ready for you, right there.
So 5 minutes later I was back outside.

Waiting for the interview :sleepy:

(and hoping they use the pictures I sent in with the application for my certificate, instead f the one she made yesterday lol!)

Okay , I did my bio yesterday Tuesday that went pretty cool as always. I asked the manager how long will I have to wait to get scheduled for interview, he said about 6weeks. why was I asking the question? I realized that a VJ members in Feb and one in May has not been scheduled for interview and that worries me " they all are St. Paul's MN office". But when I check St. Paul's MN website they say "Same-day administrative ceremonies are conducted for western Wisconsin residents on a monthly basis" Could this make a difference as I am western Wisconsin resident? Any thoughts? I have to travel out this December.

They offer same day oath ceremonies to residents who live far away so that you don't have to make an extra trip for the oath. Atlanta does the same for applicants from Alabama.

This should have no impact on when you get your interview.... that'll take as long as it takes. You'll probably be roughly 4 months behind the February applicants unless things speed up. But it's hard to judge based on only one February case and one May case... they may both be unusually slow cases.

It is extremely uncommon for someone to be naturalized in under 4 months from the date of the application however. Most places take 5-8 months and some take longer. Your office would be exceptionally fast if you had your oath ceremony in August.

Question for those filing under the 3 year rule
(eventhough Im a resident since 07, I received my GC based on our marriage, so it made the most sense to me to check that one the N400)

Is your spouse planning on going with you to your interview?

Fingerprints completed in Chicago via walk-in. The gentleman doing the intake did challenge me, but I provided him a plane ticket showing I would be in NJ on my scheduled date. Was fourth in line, and was in my car again in 35 minutes.
