He should be OK to travel with his soon to expire GC and his extension letter especially after completing his biometrics which would probably be sometime next month!

Received I -797 NOA Today.

Can anyone tell me tell me about the wording on there? It's a little confusing to me?

What is the receipt notice date printed on your NOA? This notice extends your GC to another year (from the date the GC expires) within which you removal of conditions should be processed! Hopefully the next notice you should receive will be an ASC biometrics notice. Good luck to you.

June 1 2015 is the date on there. What about the part where it says NOTE: Conditional residents will not receive a ASC appointment? Who is that referring to? Is this the notice that I carry with me until the new green card is received?

June 1 2015 is the date on there. What about the part where it says NOTE: Conditional residents will not receive a ASC appointment? Who is that referring to? Is this the notice that I carry with me until the new green card is received?

The note in the receipt notice completely says;

"Conditional resident applicants, including conditional resident dependents, residing overseas pursuant to military or government orders WILL NOT RECEIVE an ASC appointment notice. To complete biometric processing, these applicants must submit the required items listed on the I-751 form instructions."

If you do not reside overseas on military/government orders this does not apply to you. Expect to receive the Application Support Center (ASC) appointment notice for your biometrics!

Yes this is the letter/ notice that you should carry with you until your GC is approved!

So, today (06/18/2015) I received ASC Appointment Notice (Form I-797C, Notice of Action) - Notice Date 06/13/2015

My appointment is for 06/29/2015 - 12:00PM in USCIS Austin, TX

I didn't receive NOA with extension for my GC.

I think to try to go for fingerprints tomorrow morning - just don't want to wait until the end of the month and I am also curious why I didn't get that first letter.

Also there are two numbers in the letter that I received today.

The status for one of them is

"On June 3, 2015, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number ........, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by July 3, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

So, I suppose that I have to wait for that first NOA until July 3.

Go for your biometrics and then call USCIS or schedule an infopass appointment to get your passport stamped if you don't get your NOA notice in the mail by 07/03! Your NOA receipt date is probably gonna be 06/03! Keep us posted! Good luck to you.

Husband's I-551 expires 9/5/15. Received NOA for I-751 application today. Do you-all think he's safe to travel now (with soon-to-expire card and NOA saying he has a one-year extension) to his native country (Cuba) to see his aging mother? Or should he wait till Permanent Residency card without conditions is received?

Or should he wait till Permanent Residency card without conditions is received?

He should be OK to travel with his soon to expire GC and his extension letter especially after completing his biometrics which would probably be sometime next month!
