Hi there, Congrats.

What is the difference between receiving the approval letter from Vermont Service Center versus Newy York City local office? How could you tell?

It appears that if you get the letter from the new York City local office, there is no notification and online status update. Is this correct?

I am in New York City as well and I am still waiting for my approval.

Is the name Laura Zuckowski? My envelope had the address of VSC and it was mailed from 05479 zip code of St Albans VT. then the bottom the approval letter shows the Boston Field Office's address (where I belong to), but signed by Laura Zuchowski. I just googled her name and she is the director of VSC. Maybe the letters all have a standard form, where they put the address of the applicant's local office. Could you check the address on your envelope if you haven't thrown it?

I know there are people still waiting to hear anything, but i wanted to follow up on how things have moved along for me. I got an email on monday 4/25 that my card was in production. I also saw the status on my case changed to that on the app /website. I never received a letter on the mail.

Yesterday the status on the website/app changed to "On april 27th, 2016, we mailed your new card for xxx, to the address you gave us".

It is weird, I got my approval but I cant help to come back to this forum to check if other people are getting the same good news. Hang in there, they are already in June cases, if you waited 10 months or more, it should be a matter of days now.

Thank you so much for sharing as I think your information is very useful to many of us who are neurotically checking the status online on a daily basis and get disappointed when online status remains the same.

I agree with you that over all Vermont is doing June cases but it doesn't mean that they are not working on other months petitions. Some of the July fillers got approved in the middle of April. I don't think VSC focuses on ROC petitions filled within one month. Vermont is like all over the place. I am not going to be surprise if soon we see August approvals here in the forum. For me certain amount of petitions get assigned to different immigration officers. Some of them the work faster, some slower, some go in order, some do whatever folder comes first, some do one folder at a time, some do piles-these folder are ready for approvals, these for request for evidence and so on. It might sound stupid but this is what I think is happening. Thats why we have Vermont fillers who get approve for 8,5 months and another that wait 11 months.

Hey guys! Today I woke up to the best news ever. My conditions were removed. Only God knows how bad I needed this. I prayed to him every single night and never gave up hope. Me and my husband split up shortly after I applied and I knew it would be a lengthy process if they asked for more evidence and I had to tell them to wait for my divorce. I literally checked the website every single day every thirty minutes. I know I sound like a psycho but the anxiety was the worst. I checked my status on the app at 9 this morning and still nothing and then I checked at 9:30 and there it was new card being produced. I wish every single one of you the best of luck!
