I am just trying to understand how some cases in June are approved earlier than others. I wonder if the location of the filer has anything to do with being approved earlier than others.

Are there any cases submitted from NYC in June 2015 that have been approved?

He should be OK to travel with his soon to expire GC and his extension letter especially after completing his biometrics which would probably be sometime next month!

So the start of another week and the long wait and saga continues. Submitted June 3 and still pending now. We did originally submit from NYC but have since moved away to a nearby state.

12/27/12 (Day 0) Sent in application

12/31/12 (Day 1) USCIS Priority Date

1/3/13 (Day 4) Notice Date

1/7/13 (Day 8) Biometrics Appointment Notice

1/28/13 (Day 29) Biometrics Appointment

2/6/13 (Day 38) I-485 status changed to “Testing and Interview”

2/25/13 (Day 57) EAD / AP Combo Card approved

3/6/13 (Day 66) EAD / AP Combo Card received

5/15/13 (Day 136) Receive Email and Text notification for June 21 Interview

6/21/13 (Day 173) AOS Interview in Long Island City, New York City. IO said "you should get card soon" during the interview

8/16/13 (Day 229) Mailed Congressional assistance inquiry form.

8/20/13 (Day 233) Mailed Senatorial inquiry form.

8/22/13 (Day 235) Did a walk-in to inquire about status and told the case will be re-assigned to another officer.

8/23/13 (Day 236) Card production email received, a full 9 weeks after the interview . Also got call from Senator's office confirming approval.

8/26/13 (Day 239) InfoPass appointment to get passport stamp as we have travel plans for late August.

9/3/13 (Day 247) Received Green Card. Also got call from Congresswoman's office confirming delivery of the Green Card.

6/3/15 (Day 0) Send in I751 Form

6/8/15 (Day 5) Notice of USICS Receipt

7/16/15 (Day 43) Biometrics Appointment

4/19/16 (Day 321) I751 Card Production

We submitted from NYC and received our approval letter is dated 04/06/2016. Hopefully, yours will come soon!

yeah... that's awesome. We can watch our N-400 together. But I cant send in package until June 11

So I just spent the better part of 30 minutes on the phone with a tier 2 representative at USCIS. I explained that I have been waiting for 315 days since I petitioned for my 10 year green card. She said that someone is actually working on it today. She also said that my extension letter expires June 12, 2016 so I should make an info pass appt. just in case. So hopefully it will be here in time so I can go on to Naturalization in June. What and exhausting and frustrating process. I do see the light at the end of the tunnel before year end.

Congrats on the recent approvals. Wow, it's a little alarming that we are one of the last two to still wait for approval from CSC for June ROC filing. We already sent for request and they replied last month saying hubby's ROC petition is stuck in security checks! UGH! :cry:
