Hello long time lurker here. Filed in June at Cali office. Got my approval today after getting an RFE in January. Resubmitted extra docs with tons of pictures, wedding album, driver licenses etc.

I got approval today! Actually dont know if the mail came on Friday or Saturday exactly but i checked mail today and saw the approval! Wohooo!!!!!

No status update online yet. And I moved to TX recently so my letter since came from VT but the Office listed was Irving, TX inside the letter... I am still happy and partyin!!!!

Long time lurker, but thought I would post to add some hope for the fellow VSC filers.

NOA1 Date: 06/04/15

Biometrics: 07/01/15

Approved: 03/29/16

Never received an email and the case status is still set to "received" on the USCIS website, but received the approval letter date 3/29 on 4/2. The end (of this step) is near. Hang in there everyone.

4. Approved on 31 March.

I wonder if they are shipping them out locally to be dealt with?

I have my Citizenship paperwork ready to go!

Congratulations! I honestly don't know how to answer your question. Know for a fact that transfer from one service center to another is a common practice in order to balance workload. When a case got sent to a local office usually means something else. I have never heard before about offload to local offices in purpose of balancing workload.

I received the Green Card in the mail on April 2nd from VSC. The letter was dated 3/29/2016 and was mailed on 3/30/2016.

One question, the back side of the letter with the Green Cardis the Form I-797D. There also was the Welcome to the United States pamphlet there. Is there anything else that will be mailed or is this it?

Another frustrated June 2015 filer here.

For the I485 process, we were also massively delayed by the NYC office so frustrated we are once again part of the massively delayed bunch.

Filed on June 3, 2015, got NOA1 on June 8, 2015 and just rotting since. Checked with my attorney and they indicated we are still "within the processing window." Just flat out don't get why there is such a high level of inconsistencies with these applications.

7/16/15 (Day 43) Biometrics Appointment

4/19/16 (Day 321) I751 Card Production

i just checked and it said card in production! hang in there folks, your cards are coming. just imagine you received your card, and it's going to come all the more faster.

Approved! Letter is dated 4/4. It gives the address of our local office at the bottom--odd. Best of luck to those still waiting!
