He should be OK to travel with his soon to expire GC and his extension letter especially after completing his biometrics which would probably be sometime next month!

HI guys, I wonder how many days it took for u to get the card in mail after approval notice? I'm gonna outta state for a month, so I'm thinking if I should change my address on USCIS so that I can get my card soon. Thx!

We got the approval notice Nov 23rd. Physical card in the mail Dec 2nd.

Is the automated phone system giving the same information? as in, is the phone system more accurate ? or do they both pull from the same place and the only way to get a real answer is to call and speak to someone

Yay! Online status changed last night: "On December 14, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us". I wish a speedy approval to all of you guys who're still waiting!
