Jawaree, I am not sure if I understood your message =), but I will just put out some general information about how it went down for me:

I went through the regular CR1 (Spouse Visa) process. After the interview at the U.S. Embassy I received a notice that stated that I won't be issued my visa due to missing vaccinations. There is no possibility to send a waiver off any time before that notice. You have to wait for that notice. I recommend having your whole waiver package prepared by that time so you can send it off right away. I sent my waiver to the Phoenix lockbox. When you send it to the lockbox you will get a notice once they received your waiver. You will also reveive a receipt number which you can use to check your case status online.

My waiver package included:

1) Filled out form I-601.

2) An introduction sheet that referes to the certain laws that apply to my case

3) I wrote an affidavit for myself (around 2 pages long), that explained how I came to my religious beliefs I hold today, why vaccinations are against my belief, why I think my waiver should be granted. ( This question is asked on the I-601 form, I decided to write it on a seperate sheet and put "please see attached brief" as answer for the question)

4) 4 different affidavits from friends, family members etc who states how important my religion is to me etc

5) A letter from my doctor. (He stated that I am aware of the risks of not getting vaccinated etc).

6) I had my panel physician write a letter that statet which vaccinations I have and which ones would be missing and that I am healthy

7) You have to include a copy of the ID or the passport of each person to state that they are real people. I excluded my doctor and panel physician since they have the stamp of the clinic.

😎 Everything that is not in English needs to be translated into English.( You can do that yourself! ).

9) You have to get a money order or check and include it with the package (585 dollars)

I am from Germany. It took 4 month to get my waiver approved.Times can vary depending on which country you file from and how busy they are at that time.

I also want to Point out that my religious beliefs are SPIRITUAL. I am not a member of a religious group. I have my own personal beliefs about God and that belief is best described by spirituality and I stated that in my waiver very clearly. You do not have to be a Christian, Buddhist, Muslim etc to have the right to file a waiver on religious grounds.

My wife is considering doing this as well, she is will be pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of the interview as well.. thanks for the information..
