The problem is that they didn't give any timeline to correct this problem....so we don't expect anything...it may be corrected now...or tommorrow or in 3 days...we don't know....we can only sit,wait and pray.....but last year when this problem arrised it took 2 weeks for consulates to be operational again....Best of luck to all....

Goodnews.....the current technical problem issue is resolved by 50%....basically there were 2 problems...first was issuing new and renew overseas passports and second was issuing visas....so fortunatly first problem is fully resolved and in sha Allah second will also be resolved soon....need prays.....!!!

According to www.travel.state.gov website new update the visas problems isn't expected to be fully resolved before next week....so hope in sha Allah our visas will be issued next week.....

Some of the embassies seem to even be rescheduling interviews. However, from what I can piece together, the cases that had a DS-160 filled out before June 9th are able to interview, but cases that filled in their DS-160 afterwards need to wait to have their interview. At least I'm really hoping this is the case. We just got our interview date and want to keep it! But, nothing we can do but wait, yes?

Yes, we filled it out a few days after it arrived at the embassy. Hopefully we missed the glitch and get our interview.

I'm not one to spread a rumor, but this I'll share! Someone said one another thread that they've seen Facebook posts that they are just now getting their visas after being interviewed and approved after the June 9th glitch. It may have been fixed and visas may be on track to get issued!

Yeah but that's still a good sign I think. Mine was only date change too but before that there had not been any date change at all. So they are doing something. At least it's a hopeful sign that they will be able to work on them and maybe next step will be issuing visas. Keep positive thoughts.

I know our case was updated on June 9th, and then again on June 14th. However, I don't know if that's because of the glitch, but we got our interview letter on the 14th. Someone on another thread that has been in AP for over a year had updates on the same days as we did, so that's a little strange.

Latest update on the site:

As of noon today, 22 posts have been reconnected, representing about half of the global nonimmigrant visa volume. All our servers appear to be stable. There is a large backlog of cases to clear, but we have already made good progress. We will continue to bring additional posts online until connectivity with all posts is restored.

Don't know if this includes the Islamabad embassy or if they're doing non-immigrant cases first. Can those of us who had our immigrant interviews done on June 8th and 9th keep track of their visa case and post updates?
