I gave my interview on 4th june i received my passport today i.e 9th june. In Sha Allah all the best.

Did they tell you after the interview how long it would take for the passport to be mailed to you and did it come earlier or later than expected?

Today it was my interview at Islamabad embassy pakistan... and Alhamudulilah it was approved...by the grace of God it was super ez..just last in 2 min....a nice american lady asked my wife abt his date of arrival in pakistan and asked did i ever travel abroad...where and for what and i answered...den she smiled and said ur interview is approved u will get ur passport in 2 weeks.....i m very happy didn't expecting it so ez... and it is all due to God....Best of luck all of u...!

Its ok no problem. The guy told me that I will receive my passport within 10 days. But I received it in 5 days Alhamdulilah in half the time.

Today it was my interview at Islamabad embassy pakistan... and Alhamudulilah it was approved...by the grace of God it was super ez..just last in 2 min....a nice american lady asked my wife abt his date of arrival in pakistan and asked did i ever travel abroad...where and for what and i answered...den she smiled and said ur interview is approved u will get ur passport in 2 weeks.....i m very happy didn't expecting it so ez... and it is all due to God....Best of luck all of u...!

Hmm, ok. My wife's interview is on June 25th, and I'm thinking of flying in the following week to bring her here. Probably on July 4th so she'll immigrate here on America's birthday :) but I hope her passport comes back before that time.

That's great news. May your wish come true. If all goes well then she will receive her passport before July 1st.

Ya....i also recommend that both husband and wife should go to the interview together or atleast bring US spouse passports.....they wanna see how often ur spouse came to pak by seeing airports stamps.....while it is also important to bring facebook messages and skype call logs records.....always take extra photograph with u....i meant u should have pix from different photographers...so that if they reject ur pix u can give them another...i saw many peoples rejected bcz there pix were not appropriate....like edited in photoshop...

Yesterday was My interview ...Alhamdulillah ....approved :)

Hardly 5 min interview ........Asked me following question

where my husband live in USA?

when he 1st enter in USA ?

arrange marriage or love marriage?

Previous my visit from Pakistan to any country ?

Either its 1st time apply for visa or not ?

Then she give me smile and said your visa is approved ,,,,, and give me 10 days for passport collection

.............................

Some person face problem regrading passport picture ,,,there pictures were edited ....and they refuse ......luckily Islamabad embassy have their passport size pic ,WHICH they receiveD from NVC

At 8:30 all work done :) with approval and 8:50 I was in cafe

How much time required to change the status ?

i hope status will change tommorrow In sha Allah....and if it would change tommorrow then we can hope our passport will arrive in next 2 days....In SHa Allah....

Did your spouses bring their nikkah nama to the interview, or just the marriage certificate? What did you submit to the NVC?

we submit Nvc the copies of urdu Nikaah nama its translation stamped by notary public...and nadra marriage certificates....so we bring all originals to Embassy...better to take all original of civil documents to interview even it is required or not....

Thanx Samkruger....ya it seems that US embassy is working efficiently.....when ur status was changed from "ready" to "Issued" after interview....?
