I think they have cancelled the last week of September's schedules. It could be because of Eid holidays.

Hi,

I am a little bit off topic here but was wondering if anybody could help me with the queries,

I got Packet 3.5 email from ISL embassy on 5th August 2015 for K1 Visa. I haven't sent them the documents yet and its been over a month now. My Joint Sponsor runs a business in USA and he had exemption in filling his taxes but for my case he filed his taxes early to provide me with the recent Tax documents. I will hopefully get the Affidavit of Support documents by next week. Is there any deadline to post back documents on Packet 3.5? I will post them the documents almost after 40 days I believe.

Also, I lived in UK for 4 years. I came to Pakistan in November 2014. I bought a UK Police certificate with me when I was coming back. I haven't been to UK since than. Now that I am submitting Packet 3.5 documents after so long I am not expecting an interview date anytime soon. UK police certificate is valid for a year I guess. Do you think I should get an updated Police certificate from UK or the one I have got is fine as I haven't been to that country since then.

Our NAO2 has a validity date of 05 Nov 2015. What does that means?? What happens if I don't get the interview date before 05 Nov?

I would really appreciate if someone can help me with my queries.

Thanks.

Dear VSstart,

There are three conditions worte in your interview letter, for your ready referecen let me wirte for you!

"Applicants may need to bring an additional police certificate to the interview. If the following three
items are all true
, the applicant needs to bring an updated police certificate to the interview:
1 He or she is more than 16 years old;
2 He or she obtained a police certificate more than one year ago; and
3 He or she still lives in the country that issued the police certificate."

In my opinion, youalready left UK, so no need to get UK PCC, but I think you need get PCC from Pakistan.

Hope it is clear!

I only know the answer to the following questions you posted:

This means you need reply before the expiration date of this approved petition (I-29F). Once you start the communication with the Embassy and / or state department then this approved petition will stay active.

My advise: If your package is not compete and you are waiting for some document then reply with incomplete package so your approved petition don't expire and make sure to provide a cover letter where you can clarify what you are sending now and what will come later. Make sure to made the copy of the bar coded page that you needed to send with the package so you can send the same copied bar coded page with the missing document. If it is not possible or too difficult then at least start some kind of communication with Department of State so your petition don't expire. If this petition expires then your fiancée needs to file a new petition.

UK Police certificate : I think there is a contact number written on that police certificate, and need to call that number and ask them if you can get another updated certificate that you needed for US immigration / visa purpose and hope you get the best answer. As far as my information the police certificate that embassy needs is within the six month of the interview date unless if it is changed now.
