My wife got the call today and she picked up her passport!!!!! :D :D

So Islamabad is definitely issuing the immigrant visas. Tell your family members to keep their phones close to them because they should get the call inshaAllah this week. My status still says "Ready" on CEAC, so ignore that site because they're not updating it

Could you please mention when her interview date was, as encouragement for the rest of us?

This is really annoying and blood boiling thing that is happening since last 3 weeks. I was lucky that I got my passport with visa after 5 days Alhamdulilah. But seriously the Embassy is lagging behind in many matters. I have read somewhere that they will be fully functional by this week but still it would not be confirmed until on of you gets his or her respective documents and responses. I know the feeling of it but stay strong and have faith. May Allah swt bless you all. Ameen. In Sha Allah you guys will hear good news soon. ☺

Congratulations Subz1987.....its really a good news to hear....atleast they started to issue immigrant visas.....did ur wife get call from islamabad American express abt passport pick up....bcz i guess islamabad people receive call one day early than others in lahore...karachi,faisalabad.......i guess embassy is doing working backwards to clear the backlog......really interesting.....

Ameen. They told us (my son and husband) that we were approved. The system was already experiencing problems at the time of our interview, the interviewer told us. We left the embassy around 11:30, 12 ish. Maybe a bit earlier.

My son's status was updated to Administrative processing on 9th June. Husband's remained Ready until today.

Thank you all for keeping this thread going and posting updates and information. It really helps!

I was previously thinking that there was a chance the failure would be corrected by the time of our interview; but it looks like it's just kinda fixed, not really fixed. Knowing is a lot better than being told it's been fixed, but then it really hasn't and being on the edge of our seats! I'm happy to see some visas being issued here, so Pakistan still must be Loading... Loading... Loading... (Lol! I think that's the last time I will ever be able use that joke again!)

i think i should change my visajourney name from Loading.... to something else may be it will help...to increase the speed of visa processing... :idea:
