NVC informed me that they sent my K1 visa documents to the ISB embassy on 15th june 2015 but I still havent received any packet 3.5 from them. I sent them email from the website form a few times, so did my fiance, but they don't reply. CEAC website shows my status as ready for interview.

This is so frustrating.

This also happened to me. I had my senator contact the embassy and they said the embassy sent an email to me (petitioner) at ____ email. Which let us know that they had misspelled my email and was the reason we didn't get any email. Plus I think it's weird they were only sending it to me instead of my fiancé in pakistan. But well you know...

So I would suggest calling if you can or seeing if you can get help from senator. Islamabad will take forever to reply to your email but they respond to senators the same day. :) good luck!

My status changed to issued on 25 June. And it says it could take up to 10 business days to receive visa. So I'm guessing this means they are doing something. Surely they are printing visas or in the process of getting them ready to print soon?

If I had to guess I would say they are working on the backlog separately. Maybe they want to issue visas like normal for now on and work on the backlog simultaneously? Does that make sense? I dunno. Who can even understand this embassy. Just look at the bright side that they are able to print visas. Insha Allah they get through the back log soon.

Ya may be u r right if there is a practice in islamabad embassy that if one approved file goes to pending it is usually considered has went to Black hole..........so may be they are considering not to send fresh interviews file to black hole....and making their black hole bigger and bigger............

Anyway congratulation on ur issuance of visa......... :goofy: at least u r out of this hell....!

Yeah Alhamdulilah I thought the AP was going to end up being much longer! Now looking back, three months wasn't the worst. But I'm still holding my breath until Jawwad has his visa in hand. Then I'll be able to relax :)

And take it easy :) the system will be all back to normal soon and Insha Allah we all can be with our loved ones soon!

In my point of view they are issuing visa other than immigrant visa (CR1/IR1)

My wife got the call today and she picked up her passport!!!!! :D :D

So Islamabad is definitely issuing the immigrant visas. Tell your family members to keep their phones close to them because they should get the call inshaAllah this week. My status still says "Ready" on CEAC, so ignore that site because they're not updating it

I have a question, how important is for me (petitioner) to be present in the interwiew? Or going to the interwiew with her is a must?

Not necessary at all. It could help your applicant if they're really nervous, your presence could help soothe their nerves. But the only thing that really matters is that all the documentation is complete and they bring everything they need to bring to prove the relationship. Also that they answer the questions and satisfy the interviewer that it's not a sham visa application

Interview was on 9th June. No visas yet. Just now found out about their 'technical problems' from visa journey. CEAC for son not updated since 9th June, stuck at Administrative Processing; for husband at Ready, updated on 21st.

In the same boat as Loading..., Aumer and no doubt countless others.
