Canadian Address on UK Police Certificate

Hi guys,

I just got back last week from 2 years living in Canada. I've got my medical tomorrow in London. My UK police certificate has my Canadian address on it (as does the I-129F but I'm not worried about that). It's going to be weeks, I imagine, until my interview - should I get a new police certificate with my UK address on it or do you think it will be ok as is? The embassy in London know of my change of address.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid :)

Paranoid.

Probably! But is this something that you've experienced personally? Because neither the embassy or ACRO will give me a straight answer on it.

No I have not experienced this. I am American and had no police certificate. It is my opinion.

There is a piece of paper with your likeness affixed and your name on it. And it gives your UK police record. I don't see how the address it was mailed to matters. What if you needed a German police certificate? Would it be invalid if it was mailed to you in England? Would you have to move to Germany to receive it at a German address so it matched before then interviewing in England? You need a Canadian certificate because you lived there. What if you ordered it and had it sent to an England address? Does it no longer cover your time in Canada? I don't see the connection, thus the paranoid opinion which was your suggested word.
