Sorry to hear that the whole processes is just rough they don't care about how this distance is affecting all of us. I don't get how this people could sleep good at night knowing family are scattered apart and it's in their hand to just fix it in reasonable time. I hope all of us get the answer soon no one deserves this agony.

Hi there:

Congratulation on your approval, I think in your case you should receive notice anytime soon. Unfortunately for all of us MTL is the slowest processing center and sometimes I wonder the same thing about if there's a human being behind this cases waiting.
all the best to you and hoping you'll see that "Issued" soon. :-)

Thank you but to be honest it's really hard to be excited about the approval, by now everyone who had their interview around the same time as me already gotten their passport back with their visa, and not knowing why I was put on ap is hard. But like you said I hope I can see issued soon the separation from my child and husband is taking a toll on me. And I hope for you both something gets resolved soon.

Nope nothing at all, you? We seem to be stuck in a stupid system.

I sent them another email on thursday ( at least to see an update in the system) got same automatic response on Friday. exactly the same, word by word. Next week I will send another email because my second wedding anniversary is October 11. The case won't be CR1 anymore, they should change it to IR1. so I will send a notification 30 days before the aniversary, let's see what's the answer. I'm also hoping they answer to the congressman.

please keep me posted if something happens. Have a good week!!

Idy and New User 1000 I am speechless!! This is really not OK and borderlines lunacy!! I am troubled that all the crazy rhetoric right now about immigrants and immigration as a lead up to the 2016 elections is adding to the madness. I am heartbroken for everyone still waiting on here especially you both because we were all in the May interview batch. It's easy to get beyond discouraged but my prayer is that your spirits will not be broken and that this week will bring GOOD news. Will inbox you later.

Hi all,

I have some good news. I got this email from the consulate today. I am beyond happy and hope this means my visa will be issued soon!!!

Good morning,

Thank you for your email!

Please note that that your case is in its final stage of adjudication. Can you please confirm that once the visa is issued you will enter the United States through the Rainbow Bridge Port of Entry. Please confirm by sending an email to Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov.

Best regards,

That is GREAT news!! I hope your days of waiting are over. Keep us posted!!

In other news Vanda and I got married on Saturday. It was a perfect "take two" beach wedding after losing our deposit on the first wedding we missed on July 19th! It was a picture perfect day before Hurricane Erika came through on Sunday. So now we're waiting for our marriage certificate and then we have the less-than enjoyable task of applying for a status change with US Immigration.

Wow, a huge congratulations to you both! I am so sorry of the events that played out in the delays that has caused but it sounds like it was special, small and romantic. Stay safe with the hurricane and good luck with US immigration again but hopefully it will be much easier experience. In my entire experience, I found out that the lack of communication internally in Montreal as well between DHS sub divisions causes the delays more and more. I hope that it gets better and I hope that message means I am getting my visa soon.

Thank you Idy. Have you heard anything or your congressman? My case specifically got pushed due to the fact I had the congresswoman engage them. I do really hope you hear something. Keep me posted and let me know if you need anything.

Congratulation Andy and Vanda!!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! It's true that our experience with the immigration process has been bad and unpleasant, but you are together now and hopefully everything will be easier and better. Best wishes to love and happiness!!
