OMG I can't believe you are both still having issues. I'm speechless as well. If you are in Miami then I'm guessing you don't have Lois Frankel as congresswoman.

Mark Rubio's office was also helpful in opening an investigation.

My heart goes out to you. I can only imagine what you've endured. We had the full 8 weeks wait forcing us into hotels for 2 weeks, but really had to push to get them to act.

I'm convinced that contacting congressmen and senators does make a difference.

I'm praying you'll hear good news soon. Keep me posted!

It was truly frustrating to get one liners...Here is some examples. and similar one liner for chain of emails back and forth. They wouldn't give us a number to contact them since they would just ignore anything we say in the email. It's been 84 days for me now since the interview....just crazy.

Good afternoon,

Please note that you must contact CBP regarding your 9B2 overstay. Please contact us once you discussed your case with CBP.

Thank you!

After we asked we can't get hold of anyone and give us an inquiry number, this is what they write

Good afternoon,

Hi Idy,

We had the congresswoman contact them back at Montreal for sending emails like above below without any information, false information from the consular officer at the time of the interview and false information by NVC on July 7 regarding the CBP flag. This is what they said to the congresswoman on Monday. Since then our status update has changed everyday even today but status is still ready. "PATIENCE" - I wonder what this word means to them if it was them in our shoes waiting, anticipating and being treated the way they are treating us. I know they are busy but their treatment is so inhumane, it's unbelievable.

Hello,

Thank you for your message to the Congressional e-mail box of the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal.

Due to the high volume of messages, we appreciate your patience as we respond to your inquiry as soon as possible. Please do not send multiple messages regarding the same case, as this may create further delays in response.

We appreciate your patience as we research an answer to your inquiry. If you have an urgent request that requires immediate attention, please feel free to contact the Consular Correspondence Unit.

We look forward to serving you and your constituents.

Thank You.
Sincerely,
Consular Correspondence Unit

Hi Andy & Vanda!

My congressman is Carlos Curbelo, his office sent an email to MTL last monday, still no answer but they updated the case on Tuesday. I'm also in contact with Marco Rubio's office but need to send them some documents, I wanted to wait for the consulate's response to the congressman.

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers!!

"Múltiple emails"... If they were doing the right things and giving straight answers, We wouldn't need multiple inquiries. My god!!! What a frustrating situation!!!!
Please keep me posted my friend.

Thank you!!! your support has truly been amazing. I agree with you that I cannot believe they are now not able to provide response to the congressman/woman in a reasonable time...

Hello I'm in a similar boat but it has not been that long since I was put on ap. My interview was on aug 12th In fact he approved me and gave me a welcome letter and told me I will receive my passport in 2 to 3 weeks its been 2 weeks now and reading from all the people who are put on ap is just horrible. Were you told you are approved also? Just wondering if I should start bugging them instead taking their word for it.

Neither of us were approved at the interview and were given a 221g. For me, it was a missing document. Both of us are May interviewees but a lot of people post that has gotten their approval. Don't lose hope.

Sorry to hear that the whole processes is just rough they don't care about how this distance is affecting all of us. I don't get how this people could sleep good at night knowing family are scattered apart and it's in their hand to just fix it in reasonable time. I hope all of us get the answer soon no one deserves this agony.
