Curious about an upcoming excursion, not sponsored by work. Does anyone know how to get a better rate at Hilton hotels?

AAA = No dice

AARP= Not yet

Anyone?

I heard even Paris Hilton couldn't get a discount.

:lol:

But then, who cares. She will own the brand soon enough.

I am sure that someone knows the travel "techniques" for this Hotel. Discounting is a game, although one must know the rules.

Hey William,

My only advice is to book directly on the Hilton site - I got a great deal last summer in NYC by booking directly.

Good luck!

I'm sure you've already thought of this, but what about Hotels.com or any of the travel sites, like Orbitz, Hotwire, Travelocity, and Expedia? I think they all have hotel searches, packages, deals, and so forth. It might be worth checking out. The worst that can happen is that you end up where you are now. :)

I appreciate the replies. Yes, I have tried all of the above, with the same exact rate result.

For clarification, I guess I am looking for a discount code or something. They are out there, yet my searches have been circular thus far.

Would that also be a Government rate?

sometimes the government rate is considered to be the rate when the government is paying for it. so try both terms and see what they say. i've run into both terms used, sometimes interchangeably.
