i just read the instructions for the affidavit of support, and I just want to make sure that we only need the copy of taxes and w-2

When we applied for my wifes k-1'we were required to submit bank papers, job letter etc...

We dont need that now for her adjustment.

Yes, include the tax info for the previous financial year with her W-2s. If you can also provide the last 2 financial year tax returns. You can also provide something like an employment verification letter. Which you can obtain most probably by asking the HR department of your employment.
