I was able to fill coz I paid my IV fees online... Now since u pay online there is no manpower involved.. So the system automatically unlock ur DS260 the moment ur IV fees status is paid.... Everything is automatic and interrelated... Now u guys who send ur IV fees by mail even though ur fees are paid but they manually have to enter as paid in system and then unlock ds260... There r so many applicants and that's why it is taking time to access ds260 who paid by mail. My advice never do anything by mail .., do everything online

Congrats on completing the form and good luck with your case closing. You are not far from the finishing line. Have you started preparing documents for your interview as we are not far from being current.

that mean you paid the IV twice one by mail and one by online !!!! i think its not necessary

you can wait some more days since your VB not due as your PD is in NOV

you can wait some more days since your VB not due as your PD is in NOV

More important is time right now rather than money.....Coz no one knows when the website will be working well...

Now regarding paying twice i already had a talk with NVC and they told that i will have to send proof that i sent the money order and that it was cashed to claim for a refund which i already have right now....Of course it will take time to get money back but paying twice and getting everything completed on time is more important...

My PD will be current next month and i dont want to sit waiting for them to unlock everything....there are thousands of cases stuck ...even if the website starts working well....all together will start filling their DS260 and again they will take 30-60 days to review each case....so...this is a big black hole...Just everything to get out of it and finish everything as early as u can....Good Luck

I will do and in regards to your case you will never know as they might complete it before the time so keep calling them at least once a week as that is why I have done. Good luck to you.
