I am living in Argentina. I had had some prolems getting them to allow me to do the DCF in the Consulate in BA. Its a long story but when they finally said yes then came the news on about no more DCF. Anyways I have been communicating with Immigration Bureau Chief in BA and she sent me this:

It looks like US residents living in Argentina will be able to apply here at the consulate. But it is not official yet. I think this will be good news.

That's all I have for now. She will be getting in contact with me once it's official so I can turn in the I-130.

Thanks for this bit of good news.

I don't check the Department of State website daily but access VisaJourney.com everyday. I am looking forward to the morning I turn on my pc, click on VisaJourney.com, go to the DCF forum and see in capital letters: IT'S OFFICIAL FROM THE DOS! DCF IS BACK!

I think I will hang on until the end of February before making a move. Maybe, just maybe, my husband and I might be home by June after all.

Good luck to us all.
