Hi all , well after waiting and waiting , my interview is tomorrow in Phoenix.

A little nervous for sure , but not as much as my wife.

My question to everyone is what kind of questions should we expect ?

We have gathered everything from our mortgage deed , to bank statements and bills , as well as our wedding album.

Will we be put in seperate rooms by chance ??

Any help would be great....

Its unlikley you will be interviewd apart (unless the suspect fraud) as for the questions, each interviewer seem to do things diffrent so no set rule on questions... we were asked how we met, when my first visit was, have I left the states since I applied for AOS, the usual have you ever been a terrorist ect ect...

Hello, fellow Canuck!

If you can, you might do a search for other people that have been interviewed at the Phoenix office. Or maybe just other Canadians that have been interviewed. I'm sure things vary from day to day, but a few things you can probably expect:

1. Your name, date of birth, ssn.

2. Her name, date of birth, ssn

3. All those "are you" or "have you" questions from the I-485. IE: Are you a Communist, do you intend to engage in prostitution.

4. How you met.

5. Details about how you got married (IE: where, was your family there).

6. Were either of you married before.

7. Do either of you have children.

These are a small sample of things I seem to remember. I'm like you, I'm worried they'll put us in two different rooms because you lose that unspoken support and the ability to hold your spouse's hand -- and if this is a relationship to prove that we're bonafide together, well, I think that's more easily seen!

But try not to stress out too much. Also, there are sample questions for AOS in the guides. Look for the link on the bottom.
