Forgot to submit G235A now what???

Hi Everyone

I already asked some people this but I really did not get the answer I was searching for.

My Fiance got an RFE while filing for our I129F,then corrected it and sent it back in,later in fact we noticed one of our G235A form was missing(from the Alien Fiancee).

What are we going to do now? We do not have a case number and are not able to ask what to do,due to the fact of knowbody being able to help us.

I am guessing this would be a second RFE.

Should we wait for another RFE? ---If we get one at all, maybe the G235A can be submitted in pack 3??

Or should we send everything in new,I am guessing they will send us something in the mail no matter what, either an RFE or an NOA1.

Can somebody please help?

You received a RFE before you received your NOA1???? Never heard of that! They sent you the NOA1 when they receive your petition.

You must've meant NOA2 but you won't be approved without have submitted G-325As for both of you. Wait for the RFE. There's been no evidence that sending anything in an attempt to have it 'catch up' with the petition packet is successful. Have you triple checked your checklist now, to make sure you didn't miss anything else?

If you meant NOA2 then first of all you already have a case number...

second, wait until they sent you a RFE. Dont sent them anything, without them specifically asking for it. It might cause delays to your case.

Other than that good luck and a speedy approval

Well I dont know I am the Alien Fiancee writing or should I say asking this.

So you guys think we got an NOA1?-I did not ask my Fiance, you get an NOA1 even with mistake?

I told my Fiance to send everything in new due to it being our second RFE,I will have to call him to ask him then.

So basicly our case is already rolling but slow due to forms being missing or how do I understand that?

Or am I hust understanding RFE wrong,RFE can be anything I think right?--If papers are missing or more evidence is missing etc.

Maybe we should wait until they complain that my G325A is missing????

You already have your NOA1 (Notice of action).

Wait until they sent you another RFE asking for the missing pages of you G-325

They are already "working" on your case.

You cannot have received an RFE without an NOA1. So you DO have a case number. You WILL get an RFE if both G-325As were not submitted, so I would wait.

I would ask your fiance to keep track of dates and forms so that you know exactly what you're dealing with.

Sit back and relax thats all you can do for now. Try not to worry too much

If they need anything else they will let you know! There's nothing you can do right now to speed up the process.

Well he submitted his G325A but not mine,he figured they would ask for that later, but he is wrong.

Well I do have a website in fact where you can give in your casenumber and keep track of it on how fast it is going.

Maybe I should ask him if he can see a casenumber on the papers he got sent back.

Well basicly he got the I129F sent back because he forgot to submit something, then sent it back again and then we noticed my G235A papers where missing.

I dont even think that the Visa call people can help us much at this point either,so we should just wait???

You are saying that the whole I-129F petition got sent back???? (thats not a RFE!)

Dont bother to call them, because they cant give you any information yet since your case is probably not even in their system yet.

Like i said before all you can do right now is sit back and relax and wait on your NOA1 which should come soon!

They will do a quick check to see that the packages are complete.....they will return it all again to you to re-submit. (initially they returned ours 3 times cos my husband forgot a page of a form)

Then you will get the NOA1...with a case number.

This doesn't mean that you won't get an RFE in the future....you may... who knows.

Good luck

He said he got the whole thing sent back with stickers on it( I am guessing the stickers where for the missing parts),he then sent it off again but with his G235A ONLY.

This was like 3 weeks ago when he sent it off again,so I am guessing they will see that my G325A is missing and will contact us again telling us it is missing.

Guessing I understood RFE wrong then.I wonder how long it is gonna take until they contact us again that the G235A is missing??

I already sent off my G235A to my fiance so that he can then resubmit it when the forms come back,I am guessing that is a good idea right?
