Interview expedited?

Anyone else try this? Already waiting at NVC, I contacted my congressmab, figure nothig to lose right? After speaking with the office, they thought a financial hardship might be worth a shot since my wife and I left our jobs overseas me to establish domicile in US and my wife leaving her job returning home to the Philippines to no jobZ she was also taking care of her family being the primary earner. NVC rejected it but the embassy said that once we get case complete they would expedite the interview. Wondering if they will actually do that or if they were just telling us this to get us off the phone and stop bothering them? Hoping they meant it and maybe my wife can get an interview end of June instead of waiting for July.

Yes, they would. The same happened to my son's case. His expedite was approved after I have submitted all docs and paid all fees. I was the one who scheduled the interview the moment i was aware his case was at USEM already. They actually sent me an email that It has been forwarded to USEM, expedite req approved, and that I can schedule for an interview for my son already (which i already did a week after I received this email).
