for AOS, do we need an official certified copy of my fiancees (non USC) birth certificate along with an official english translation or just a regular copy-machine copy with the translation?

She only has one birth certificate and wanted to let her mom keep it so we´re wondering if we should order another one to bring to the US in addition to a certified translation.
