Dear Readers,

My uncle is a USC, filed a F-4 case for my father and his 4 dependents with PD: October 30th, 2002. Our PD will be soon current. Me and my siblings are unmarried and have Birth year 1985,1988 and 1993 respectively. After checking with the CSPA Calculator, It seems we already Aged and wont be able to accompany our parents, I have 2 questions and i highly appreciate your answers.

1- When we will know if we can accompany our parents? NVC will inform us or in interview date we will know?

2- After our parents receive green card, is it possible they file F2B case for us, while we retain the original PD (October 2002 ) and if it will grant us immediate green card?

Thank You.

Your Parent has a priority date, you do not.

So assuming you are not married they can file when they become a PRmand you will get your own PD.

Sounds like 2 of you are not even close what country?

SCOTUS says otherwise.

This was an argument a lawyer tried to make for a different interpretation of the law. However the supreme court disagreed with the agreement and you will have a new date and have to wait and remain unmarried.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Depends on the country.

Student Visa is one option if you can afford it.
