07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Half-Hump Day half-report, half-humped man:

Mini-B. with fruity cough for Many'rd night in row, vaporizer wee man.

Upon awakening, Mini-B. came downstairs and lectured us, quote wee man: "Daddy, you have to learn how to stay in your own bed and sleep by yourself every night, or Mommy will get mad and yell at you. So stay in your own bed and sleep by yourself!"

Cat mad at us for not playing Wrappers last night, miffed miu man.

Raining steadily outside, more than yesterday man.

No known flooded areas or wall-to-wall news coverage like yesterday, no and no man.

Himmicane now heading for Austin, Dallas, and Arkansas, wet D ma'am.

Decent inbound commute, sell POTS man.

Weekly quota will be for Many (2+2) days, rather than for Many (2+2+1) days, act of God man.

Shall still exceed quota handily, proficient salesman man.

A customer inquired about the availability of heated pre-owned toilet seats, ask man.

We offered two solutions, see man:

-- We quality-test it and pack/ship it immediately thereafter, insulated warmth man;

-- Customer can get match too close to hindquarters while lighting farts, then sit down, si man.

No charge for such expertise combined with caring service, no man.

While getting oil changed on Saturday, related story about World's Cheapest Gringo, WCG man.

WCG drains old oil, filters it through cheesecloth several times, then reinstalls it, cheap man.

Mechanics got a big roar out of this, impressed mans.

Mechanics got equal kick out of other WCG story, see man:

WCG out of town when alternator on Mrs. WCG's car croaked, dead man.

By long-distance phone, WCG coached Mrs. WCG's replacement of alternator, he coach she man.

WCG called this "the most frustrating Many hours of my life, grrr man!"

"She didn't even know the correct way to turn the ratchet-wrench, no man!"

WCG also buys used tyres and drives them till they're completely bald, hairless man.

For annual state inspection, he'll put on better tyres in order to pass, required man.

After passing, he'll then replace better tyres with bald tyres, get every penny of value man.

Must return to sales of POTS, lucrative man.

Just ordered 109 dollars of stuff for the kid for first grade, they send it to the school in a box with the kid's name on it.

The schools in da hood? Free......

Is this the "social inequality" the libs talk of?

Heck around here they want you to buy stuff for the teacher to earn points towards passing the grade. Yes you read that right the kids earn points to pass.

No these are not gifts, they are crayons, paper, kleenex, markers, books and pens and any other supply you can think of. Plus they want it continued the entire year.
