We've already established that you haven't been married as long as we have, see Niki-B. ma'am.

We better still be noodling or I want a refund!

As for the mini-tb. I do like Ontarkie's suggestion.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  - Dr. Seuss

The Tornado is similar, except I told her I wasn't getting up anymore to sleep in her bed and if she wanted me she could come quietly to our bed. She did that for about 6 months. Now all on her own she has been staying in her own bed. She asked for a Pinky Pie music box (my little pony) a few months ago I told her she had to earn it. So after a week we went and picked it up.

Mini-B. spent his entire zzz-ing life in our bed before he got his own, first next to ours and then in own room, wee man. Having just turned Many years old for the second time, he was initially very proud of his new bed in his own room, wee man. The options seem to be to play hardball or to put his bed back next to ours, with hardball the only long-term realistic option, sigh man.

All right, stupid call woke me up from a nap...

A Texas Aggie* is awakened during the night by a phone call.

"Is this 222-1212?" asked the caller.

"No; this is doubledoubledouble-onedoubleonedouble," said the Aggie.

"Oh -- very sorry to have bothered you," said the caller.

"That's OK," said the Aggie. "I had to get up to answer the phone anyway."

Yes, the Tornado used to slept in our bed since a baby too.

By making her get up and come to our bed she is not being told no but has to get up herself instead of screaming for me. At first she was noisy but then she learned how to get in bed nice and quietly. After awhile she realized she had more room in her big girl bed and wanted to stay in it. Now she rarely gets up and she did it on her own, it took awhile but it worked peacefully!

That is why it took so long. We actually started trying before Lucas was born and failed miserably. Then 2+2+2 months later we tried again then it took till a few weeks ago for it to work. Like I said if you want it done without screaming crying then it takes longer. I couldn't do that with the Tornado when she gets really upset it's puke city! That and well I'm a sucker :D
