Okay, got home to two biometrics letters yesterday. One for me and one for the former teen. They have us both scheduled for Charleston.

They have her address. Why send to me? Oh and she didn’t get her own extension letter. If she wants to go home for a visit what does she do?

Oh well, her and hubby had already talked and she was excited about a road trip. :)

Get advanced parole?

If she's just going to Canada, she can just use her Canadian passport too, right? Carry your extension letter.

We never got an extension letter for the kids either. I think if she wants to leave she will need a stamp or her on letter, there is nothing on your letter about her so I wouldn't trust it.

If I remember from Ms. Hogan, her letter pertains to both of her kids too so if hikergirl's kiddo wants to go to Canada she needs Hikergirl's letter. OR, preferably IMHO, an I-551 stamp on her passport. She may need the original letter to get that though. Not sure.

I dunno what to do about the biometrics letter not in a town where she lives. Contact USCIS?

I can't believe mine is like next week. I figured I'd have a month of notice or something. Thankfully I'm working overnights that week so I should make it just fine. My office specifically states you need an appointment unless you're military.

No clue but we were told each child would need and extension letter, and I was the only one who got one. It doesn't mention their name or their a's.

As for the appointments is there one in her town too? Heck for us we had to go to another state for biometrics so it wouldn't make a difference.

Weird they only gave you a weeks notice, maybe someone messed up sending out the letter.

Where everybody go......

I went for a nap.
