07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

End-Friday end-report, read to end man:

Filled several more international POTS orders, best week ever man.

Decent casa-ward commute except for guy who broke down on freeway, grrr man.

Mowed lawn, in bad need of it man.

Mini-B. tagged behind Daddy with toy lawnmower, cute wee man.

Two mosquito-bites, where from & why man.

No hormigas del fuego, pest-control apparently effective man.

Finished too late for nap, no zzz man.

Read book and clowned around with MIni-B., we and wee man.

Around Many p.m., Mrs. T-B. writhing in agony, she man.

Suspected repeat cholecystitis attack, infernal gall bladder she man.

Called nurse twice; tried all possible therapies, limited effectiveness uh-oh man.

Awoke Mama T-B. for Mini-B. duty; prepped to go to hospital, amidst drunks sigh man.

Mrs. T-B. hid dirty dishes in dishwarsher, afraid of Mama T-B.'s reaction she man.

Moving around seemed to diminish the pain, mirabile dictu man.

Canceled Mama T-B.'s pending arrival, nick of time man.

Set GP appointment for Mrs. T-B. at 1 p.m., Saturday clinic hours man.

Mrs. T-B. now asleep with Mini-B., zzz she and wee man.

We are relieved at diminished symptoms, whew man.

Furthermore, we have renewed hope of a normal (GS-inclusive) Saturday, relief man.

Cat prep very limited zzz man.
