Why can't people write you instead of u or your instead of ur?

because instead of coz....

It annoys the heck out of me. I get when people are not native english speakers and try to make allowances in my head for it. But at the same time, you'll never learn how to write english properly if you don't ever write it properly. You know that saying "practice makes perfect"? Well it's not true. Perfect practice makes perfect. If you don't practice the right way, you'll never get it right! I've heard of high school teachers allowing students to write in slang for essays and reports and don't agree with it at all. If you make it to the job world, is your boss going to allow a report on their desk like that? Not likely.

English-only and where's the +Many button, si and huh ma'am? However, the correct speling is "hyskool," Niki-B. ma'am.

It is laziness, pure and simple. If you are fluent enough to understand that you sounds like u and your could sound like ur, you are fluent enough to write the actual words.

Most-of-Saturday report, mostly read man:

Arose at o'dark-Many, body aches man.

Attended a few GSs, see them man.

The take, see man:

-- Many (2+2+1) shirts for Mini-B. = $1, steal man

-- legal-sized underarm portfolio bag = half a buck, deal man

-- Pebble Beach windbreaker, 2 dress-shirts (Eddie Bauer & Nordstrom), book for

Mini-B. = $Many ($2+2), steal man

Total = $Many, whee man.

Took brood to CVS, with Many%-off coupon, $Many downloaded coupon, & mfrs.' coupons, deals man.

Saved Many% (2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2+2]%) off rack rate, impressive man.

Then went to One-Cent-Less-than-a-Buck Cents Only for groceries, deals man.

No rain for day-&-a-half to that point, amazing man.

Ate chicken hot dogs (from above store) for lunch, then napped, ingest and zzz man.

Began to monsoon just as we lay down, good timing man.

Napped for nearly Many hours, like dead thing, with cat, we and miu zzz man.

Awoke with completely plugged nose, nuke with decongestants man.

Mini-B.'s little neighbor friend (the good boy) is over, happy wee man.

Should probably investigate what's for dinner, see pre-ingest man.

Actually, fried rice with leftover chicken pieces and hot-dog slices in it, ingest man. Not bad, oj nie.

We are rapidly doing away with a bag of cheaps from Aldi, munch man.
