Those thug bangers that shot at each other?

I don't remember the rioters shooting and killing each other....

You're right there is no comparison between bad guys killing other bad guys and rioting to destroy innocent people's livelyhoods and homes.

Why are you attempting to justify one unlawful act over another? They were both stupid and dangerous, it's the outcomes that are drastically different.

That's because it's no big deal unless they need to compare it to something else. 47 people were shot, 2 were killed. One lady was shot at a funeral. Go figure. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/05/18/2-killed-47-wounded-in-weekend-shootings/

If that were true, we'd hear more about "white on white" crime.

Not justifying, just pointing out the different.

I would gather the rioters weren't shooting each other because their hands were full with with some poor store owners goods.

Or their hands were full of picket signs that called for Justice.....

Normal weekend in the Chicago hood, seemed minor for Chicago coverage.

People who hold picket signs aren't usually rioters. People who are holding widescreens and various other stolen items are the ones I'm referring to.

Depends on your city. In Baltimore, thugs get free stuff, burn buildings and beat and murder whites. If mistakenly arrested for doing these things then obozo and his hip hop artist clan will bail them out and the racist DA will talk smack about oppression to the media and threaten all dissenters.

In other cities it's known and actively practiced that THUG LIVES DON'T MATTER

I'm not attempting to downplay or justify those pumpkin riots, they were dangerous and stupid. But they did not rise anywhere near the level of either Baltimore or Ferguson.

You are attempting to justify unlawful actions because people are mad? There is no justification for rioting in my world.

No one is justifying anything. Just pointing out the stark difference between the responses to both events. Janelle and I both said we don't condone or justify the damage caused. Baltimore and Ferguson rioters are thugs and criminals. Pumpkin Patch are kids just blowing off steam. See the difference? They flipped cars and threw stuff at the police. Bet no one was held on a $500,000 bail like that one kid in Baltimore was. And he turned himself in.

The cops that were charged for killing Gray were held on a less amount. Am I the only one who sees something wrong with that?

Marv, in all fairness the pumpkin patch rioters were college kids, so to refer to them as kids is completely correct. There is no excuse for their actions however and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
