:lol: You are joking, yes? You are making excuses for these thugs, while peaceful protesters get full fledge riot gear.

There was no shoot out in Ferguson, Baltimore but they got riot gear and tanks. You got 200 folks shooting at each other and the police waltz in doing to tango, kissing cheeks and shaking boots?

Unbelievable if you don't see the difference. These were thugs! You know, they already have an established criminal history. :rolleyes: Shouldn't the police went in with guns blazing, tanks, and everything else? That's sad when you have black people with no criminal history getting killed and with no weapon and these thugs were having a shoot out and out of 200 folks only 9 managed to get killed? Probably not even by the police.

No I'm not joking and if I was unclear I didn't indicate that the biker code or their conduct at the restaurant was good, honorable or just. My point is that they do have a code of conduct that allows for the bizarro news footage showing the police and the rival gangs all appearing relaxed as the scene was processed and arrests being made.

That has very little in common with the scenes of rioting and police response and tactics in the two incidents from the OP. Largely because those crowds were behaving quite differently. I just don't think that the strained OP attempt to make those differences somehow a link to police institutional racism is a very good or strong one. Silly even.

I got about 2/3 of the way through the OP and gave up. I know that it's difficult to grasp, but if the bikers at Waco were throwing rocks and charging at the police the very different scenes from that

There is no comparison between Waco and Ferguson, to try and compare the two incidents and the police response to each one is silly.

Marv, in all fairness the pumpkin patch rioters were college kids, so to refer to them as kids is completely correct. There is no excuse for their actions however and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We should head up there this year. If Marvin had moved here instead of Hawaii he could have gone with us. We could have raised hell and the cops would have arrested him. Edited by spookyturtle

You're right, they should have. What's worse, is that dude's parents talked him into turning himself in and he was charged to the fullest extent of the law. So much in fact, he was looking at life in prison. 18 years old. First offense. Really just a kid himself. And they threw the whole book at him. But the cops who did this horrible crime and should have known better? Not even close...
