We got packet 4 from MTL June 5, which is almost exactly two months from NOA 1. I'm shocked that it is all happening THIS fast (and I feel guilty considering what the TSC folks are going through!)

My medical and interview is booked (July 6 and July 31). I am starting to freak out a little. I have been trying to not get ahead of myself & I know there are many things still that could hold this process up but it's so strange to realize that this is ACTUALLY going to happen. and so soon! Starting to feel sad about the people and places in Canada I will leave behind...

I (finally) received my NOA2 tonight so I'm joining the thread. I have done tons of research so I'm pretty confident on what I need to do next but I'm sure questions will pop up at some point or another.

I'm just happy to be on this side of things :dancing:

My case was received by the NVC on yesterday and I called for a case number around 2PM today (CST) and they had one for me. Yayyyy!

Hi,

Will you get an email when your case has been send to NVC or when they have received it? Or will I don´t hear anything more until the embassy send package 3 if I don´t call NVC?

from what I've read you have to call. i think I've only read once that someone received a letter. but they definitely don't do email or text for NVC. it's best to call

Packet 3 received this morning! I had to sign up to UStraveldocs (well reactivate my account since I've had a visa before) and send an email to the Sydney consulate and they responded with my checklist and interview date. Interview booked for Wed 14th July ?

Good luck to those still waiting. Wishing speedy approvals for you all ?

lol I know the waiting feeling! I just want to get on with the process now but due to dates & commitments won't be in a position to have the medical till early October!!! I've got everything ready that I can so I'm stuck for what to do now ?

I just found out that there is a thread for after NOA2 ;)

Our NOA2 date is June 1st and we will call the NVC on Monday.

I hope they'll have a case number for us cause I wanna do the medical before I'll visit my fiancé in July :)

K1 visa process:

06/01/2013: first met

03/29/2014: started dating

12/31/2014: "engaged"

04/14/2015: sent the package

04/17/2015: NOA 1 (CSC)

05/11/2015: "document returned to USCIS" (NOA1 hardcopy)

05/13/2015: called USCIS

05/28/2015: e-mail: they will mail the NOA1 hardcopy again

06/01/2015: NOA 2 !!

We received our NOA2 on June 1. I first called the NVC at 2:30 EST on June 10 and after 13 calls and a 34 minute wait was talking to a human. She said they had not received our case yet and it would take 35 days from the NOA2 date.

I called the NVC again today June 12 at 5:10 PM EST, and on the first call with no wait I was talking to a human! She said that NVC had received our case on June 8 and had begun entering the data into the system but it would take 4 weeks to do so. The kind lady told me to call back on July 10th.

Clearly the call center people don't have a clue what they are talking about. I could type the information in the computer with my big toe in less than 4 weeks.

I think I'll call back on Monday June 15 and see what the latest story is.

We received our NOA2 approval text/email on 6/9/2015. I've read that some of you have already gathered info for the next step. What is the next step as far as paperwork goes? Does anyone have any idea where I can read about what to gather? Thanks!!!!
