Thank you! I'll make sure to make a copy of it tomorrow then. I already sent my passport photo page, and birth certificate copy in with the packet 3. I'll be bringing the originals on the day of the interview though!

Yes, that was the worst part for me - hoping that I had all of the documents that were required to prevent delays. Make photocopies of everything - the original I-134 is required and they do not ask for a photocopy, however it would be ideal for you to keep a photocopy for yourself! Photocopy your passport photo page and your birth certificate - they will require those.

2016-01-13: Finally got my SSN card!! (Yayy!! after 80 days!!)

2015-12-17: Forms I-485, I-765 & I-131 Mailed out by USPS Priority mail
2015-12-20: Package delivered

2015-12-30: Received three NOA1's e-mails and sms (I-485, I-131 and I-765)

2016-01-05: Received three NOA1's hardcopies on hand!

2016-01-06: Received biometrics appointment letter.

Hi All!

So today I receveived the appointment letter from the Embassy in Brussels. 27th October ( :joy: )

But that's 12 days after our NOA2 expiry date ( :angry: )

On the letter they wrote that we need to bring an additional dated letter to the interview which states that we both remain legally free to marry and continue to intend to marry within 90 days

So here's my question:

-Is this enough? I vaguely remember that the petitioner has to write a letter to the Embassy.

Correct? Anyone any experience with this? Any examples?

Now that a lot of us are getting our interview approvals that means we are so much closer to our wedding days! Trying to plan our wedding has been a nice break from all the stress of filing paperwork for the government. How are all of your wedding day plans coming along?

Our wedding day is set for this Friday on the 11th! I am so excited and feeling so relieved now that our hard work in this has paid off. We made it! A lot of our finances are being invested in the immigration process so we are just having a small civil service ceremony at the courthouse with just family.

And congrats to you as well! We're living together in France until November, but we're doing the same thing as you when we get back. Just a tiny ceremony at the courthouse with our closest friends and family. It will be on new year's eve, so maybe we'll go out and watch the fireworks too. Maybe we'll pretend they're for us. :P
