Is the CEAC case checker site down again? I called NVC this evening, they received my case from USCIS today and gave me my new case number and invoice number. I tried typing in both numbers given to me but I get an error saying invalid case number. Maybe the site is not working again or does it take some time once they receive my case to check the status on the website?

That's strange, it's working for me. Are you sure you're using the correct number and entering it in the immigrant visa category? If you double check that and it's still not working, maybe give it some time. Your status won't change for at least a few days anyway.

That's strange, it's working for me. Are you sure you're using the correct number and entering it in the immigrant visa category? If you double check that and it's still not working, maybe give it some time. Your status won't change for at least a few days anyway.

I tried both numbers given to me in the immigrant visa category. Actually in both categories just to make sure lol. One gets invalid number error and the correct category I see "Your search did not return any data." My case was only received today so probably just keep checking. I'll let NVC do their thing, at least I know they got it, so that's good news!

We dont have a case number yet, we called earlier in the week, and they gave us the 30 day wait thing, but I did see that there was a package sent from NVC to South Africa yesterday, so I am hoping that might be ours. because today is 22 days after NOA2. I did read a few times, that the CEAC tracker takes a few days to update, so I assume yours will show on Monday at latest. good luck

applied for N400 whilst I751 was pending, however I751 was approved without an interview on Jan 10th /11th

N-400 applied Online: 11/7/18

BIO for N400 : 11/30/18

EST. Case Completion: October 2019) of 7/15/19 

INTERVIEW: 10/7/2019- APPROVED

OATH DATE: 10/24/2019-  received oath letter in the mail on 10/11

It's working for me too, it was however not working until it went to ready at the embassy?

I assumed it was just a glitch like the USCIS case checker was?

The first time I called I got the same about waiting 30 days. I waited a few days after then called again last night on the 28th. I called about 9:30 EST and got through to someone right away. After I read off my uscis reciept number they said to hang on the line and they would transfer me to someone to who can answer all my questions. That hold time was about 45 min on the phone!

Thanks for the replies! I will keep checking for sure, Hopefully it will update soon or when it leaves for the embassy.

Nick called NVC on Friday and got our new number. They'd apparently just received and processed it so that makes 16 days from NOA2.

Now we're onto preparing all of our info. He's tracking down financials and I'm sorting out my police check and vaccination records.

Just found out that work is sending him my way in a couple of weeks so I'll get to see him a little which is just awesome!
