Everything has moved so much faster after our case got to the NVC and receiving our case number! Our case was updated to Ready on the CEAC yesterday and I got an email with instructions on documents we need to send to the Embassy, as well as an all-clear to go ahead and set up the interview. So surreal but so, so exciting!

Called NVC yesterday and was told that my file was sent to the embassy. I checked CEAC case status a few hours ago and it's now showing "Ready". Does that mean it's been received by the embassy or is that just the last status given by the NVC to state that the file has been sent?? In either case, things are progressing really quickly, I need to finish wrapping up all the paper work on my end.. AHHH!! Nonetheless exciting times!!

wooooooooohoooo! finally! it's probably that electronic submission i told you abou the other day. it's probably sitting in the office right now "scanned in" but hasn't been directed to the correct department etc. you'll get an email or packet 3 (however your embassy does it) once they receive it in the correct department!! yayyy! :)

Awesomeness!! My embassy seems to be very responsive as they have already responded to one of my emails. So I will just sit back patiently and wait for further instructions from them.

Thanks a million Shelly and thanks to everyone else always providing good information and status updates to your cases, very informative and helpful! Use the two weeks between your NOA2 and NVC Receive wisely, by getting everything ready because once there it goes by quickly!!

I have received my packet 3 yesterday morning too!! (Friday morning) and have everything all prepared and set up to be sent on monday morning because they weren't available to receive it in the afternoon when I was able to.. Wish to get packet 4 response soon after that! Fongers crossed!

Finally, we got our case # and NVC alrerady sent it to the Hungarian Embassy:-) Our case is in ready staus:-))) One more question: do I need to translate officially the Police Certificate into English? Thanks!

that depends on the embassy. for example: Brazil...as long as it's in English or Portuguese, they don't require it to be translated. if you can find a copy of your country's packet 3, it should tell you there if it's required.

Finally, we got our case # and NVC alrerady sent it to the Hungarian Embassy:-) Our case is in ready staus:-))) One more question: do I need to translate officially the Police Certificate into English? Thanks!

applied for N400 whilst I751 was pending, however I751 was approved without an interview on Jan 10th /11th
