Nataly222 we have the same date for the interview, good luck, and I don't think it will affect scheduling the interview before receiving packet 3, from what I have read on the Juarez consulate, good luck! Hopefully this wait will be over soon!

Awesome good luck to you too!

I hope you are right :)

I have a question for anyone willing to chime in here...

I filled out and submitted my ds-160 with the joint sponsors I believed we would be using and now they aren't sure if they can be the joint sponsors anymore. I believe they are already co/ joint sponsors of another relative of theirs.

Does anyone know if that would be an issue? To sponsor two different people?

Also, anyone know how to go about changing information on a ds-160 after submission??? I called my embassy but the guy seemed pretty clueless I don't know if I trust his answer he said if I decide to change sponsors that my fiancé can just take the i-134 with the new information and all new supporting documents on the day of the interview...

As long as they still meet the guidelines for their household size (so them, plus their relative, plus you, plus anyone else dependent on them like kids etc.), it's not a problem. It's not the number of people, it's about having enough money to support those people.

As for changing information on the DS-160, I would imagine that's different for each embassy, so I have no idea. :( Did you try asking this in your regional forum?

My case status now says "Ready" on NVC. But when I search for my case #, two come up...my case number followed "01" and case number again followed by "02". Anyone have this happen to them and/or know what that means?

My fiancé applied for a tourist visa last year and got denied and now we are filing for a k-1 visa and everything is set to go and now we just finished scheduling for the interview. The problem is the confirmation for the interview has her old DS-160 number and not the new one cuz she hasn't submit it yet.. Would that be a problem ? She's going to do her medical on Monday and we can't call today cuz it a holiday in the Philippines.. Any suggestions on how we can solve this.. Or how we can change it to the new one? Thank you

I don't know if this means anything but...I just check the CEAC tracker (not because I was expecting any change, but mainly because I feel like my life is meaningless unless I'm checking the status of something LOL). Anyway...it had a Status Update Date of yesterday July 16th! does that maybeeeeee mean they're getting ready to send us the packet 3 email?????? woohoo!! :joy:

When I track my case number it says "at nvc" please follow instructions given by nvc. But I haven't received any instructions :/

I think that is merely a standardized message but you dont actually (or rarely) get an actual notice in the mail.

It also says when "in transit" appears that NVC will provide you with an interview date...but actually they dont ;)

Yes it is... I was hoping at least September, as my lease is up at the end of September so I don't know what I'm going to do. Take it or hope something else comes up? Arghhh!

Thanks! I'll probably wait a bit, but I don't want to get too cocky and have nothing better show up. What was the earliest available when you got yours vs what you actually ended up with? I'm happy to be at this stage at least.

you never know! what if someone cancels their interview tomorrow? it doesn't hurt to check. at first the earliest was september 8th and then august 11th popped up. so that's almost a month's difference.
