well thats good! but that sucks that they transferred you...because they are supposed to give you the case number before they transfer you lol. to do the dhl thing, its helpful to have the date your case was processed and case number was created, so you know what date range to search.

you can try it though. go to the DHL website and search by shippers reference

my case number was assigned on 6/27. I found mine like this:

EXP 30 JUN 2015A

and for the range i put 6/27/15 to whatever the current date was when i searched

no bugging at all! i don't think there's really an average. my case was received and processed on the same day (the 27th), mailed to the embassy 3 days later (the 30th), and received/CEAC updated on 7/6. so it was relatively quick. however, NVC is "allowed" 35 days before it's considered over the processing timeframe. from here on out, everything depends on your country's embassy and how they handle it according to their procedures and requirements.

did you get through yet to get your case number and if/when it was shipped to the embassy???

congrats! depends on your country. some countries, once you have the case number, you can schedule your interview online (others you aren't able to do that). read up on your country's forum and see what happens next! but at the very least, with the case number, you can track your case on the CEAC website to see when it arrives at the embassy!!

Btw.. If I suddenly switch jobs right before the interview but a job that pays more.. Would it be a problem? All the information is going to be my old job.. Should I send something with my new job? But I dunno if I'll have enough time for that ...

Thank you, you are so sweet! We actually could have scheduled the interview sooner, but I'm going to be in France in August anyway, so we figured we'd postpone it till I get there and we can do it together.

So everyone waiting on packet 3 isn't far behind. We might be interviewing around the same time!

Thought I'd give calling NVC a test run and got through after 10 calls or so. Spoke to rep within 3 minutes but was told that my petition still hasn't been received. I'll try again sometime next week, hopefully it will be there then.

true! i signed up for the website for interview scheduling (didnt schedule anything since we havent heard from the embassy yet, but just wanted to have it all set to go for when we do!) anywho...the first available interview date is for august 4th! i'm like UGH really! this "could" all be over with that quickly............if only i had the "ok" from the embassy to schedule it! LOL but honestly i probably won't schedule it until late august or early september if i have the option, because i literally just mailed all the interview stuff to him on monday and it'll take like a month to get there

Mine shows like "Your search did not return any data"

does anyone still not have a working case number? we got ours almost a month ago and have done everything up to the actual interview, but the case number still just brings back this error.

• Invalid Application ID or Case Number.

i'm just wondering if this is unusual, and kind of worried about tracking it after the interview.

Had my medical last Friday. 2 hours of prodding and questions but over fairly quickly. Interview is booked in Sydney next Wed 15th!! Can't believe this is all nearly over!!

Congrats! I just paid the visa today, and waiting for further indications of NVC to schedule and print the DHL registration!! Also have my medical appointment on the 21st of July (btw, the package don't even left NVC yet... not even in the CEAC system either! lol)

If it's showing READY that the consulate in Montreal has it, can we go ahead and do Packet 3?

i've heard some people get it, some people don't. All of the packet 3 send back is e-mail anyways, and CEAC is showing READY to schedule.

Mine switched to the same thing yesterday (we also have the same NOA2 ). A bit confused about that though, since I have a VAC case number but it says Montreal has it. So I guess I'll find out for real when I get packet 3 which consulate I'm ACTUALLY at.
