Age related vaccs, no you do not need them all.

The vaccs I needed to have covered were: Flu, Boostrix/TDap, MMR and Varicella (chicken pox).

I went to my GP for these before my medical as he bulk bills. He ordered bloods as my original vacc record was incomplete. Here goes my process:

1. Found the CDC chart on age-related immigration vacs

2. Got my vacc record from my first doctor (but it didn't disclose that I had chicken pox!)

3. Went to my doctor and got Flu shot and TDAP (needed a booster)

4. Next day had blood work done for MMR and chicken pox

5. Bloods came back showing i've had chicken pox, but my measles immunity was borderline.

6. Had MMR vaccine

Fronted up to Dr Waks in Sydney and handed over both my vacc records (from my original GP and my current one). He signed off as all complete. So, for a 29 year old male, you need to show immunity or records of:

1. Current flu shot (when seasonal)

2. MMR

3. Td/TdAP/TDAP

4. Varicella or history of chicken pox

That's all you need as a 29 year old male on K-1.

EDIT: Here is the CDC chart on Page 12: http://www.immihelp.com/immigrant-visa/technical-instructions-panel-physicians-vaccination-requirements.pdf

HI there guys,

In regards to lileepad's question - I noticed you asked this in June so it's probably too late for you to use this info but just in case anyone else is looking for the info, here is the list of authorised doctors (i.e. the only ones you can use for your visa medical:
