For those whose POE was JFK where a temp EAD was issued, was it effectual? Were you or your SO able to get a job during that 90 days time frame? More importantly after it expired in 90 days were you able to extend or get another interim EAD until the permanent one came in?

Who did your S/O have to talk to at JFK? What was the process?

I entered through JFK, got the stamp (without asking). If you look at my timeline, you will see that I had my EAD card issued in just over 60 days...so it is possible. We were very lucky, and everything fell into place for us ... but as with the whole of this process, you can never rely on anything.

Wishing you luck

Edited to say: Regarding the job.... we are self-employed so I didn't have to find a job...but I still needed the EAD to have my own business.

:o Wow, after looking at your timeline you were indeed fortunate! Since I live in Connecticut going through JFK wouldn't be that much of an inconvenience for me; so we will go with that option. Congratulations on such a speedy process.
