Hey guys,

I woke up this morning and checked my case on the USCIS website that has not been updated since the..... We received your I-130 bla bla bla

Anyway scrolling down the page i see that this is on my case history

05/15/2015

On May 15, 2015, your request to have your case expedited, referral number ***************, was completed.

05/15/2015

On May 15, 2015, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number *****************.

05/15/2015

On May 15, 2015, your request to have your case expedited, referral number **************, was assigned to an officer for response.

My husband called on the 14th to verbally request an expedite under financial loss but speaking to him yesterday he never received any kind of email, call or text from them.

Anyone have any idea on what will happen next and how long until we know if it's been denied or accepted?

Hi, i'm not an expert on this but when i got this message

On May 15, 2015, your request to have your case expedited, referral number ***************, was completed.

I got confirmation of my NOA 2 days later. Obviously, the dates were different in my case :)

Basically what i Think it means is that the officer decided your case was eligible for expedite and you should recieve the NOA 2 soon if you filed everything properly. But then again i'm no expert and whatever i'm telling you is just from my own experience.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your reply. Thing that makes it hard is that nothing is timed it's just dated. So I cannot work out what message is first and which message is last ?

That is the chronological order. I went to my own uscis account, the messages had an interval of 1-2 days between them so this is the correct chronological order.

I wouldn't bring out the champagne bottle yet but based on the similarities of our messages i believe you should be celebrating soon!

Good luck!

Has he sent in his evidence?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

What does it mean completed? Do you guys think that they have completed looking at it and want evidence or they completed it and denied it?

They are very vague on the history of the case

That is odd

Yeah that's why I posted as I was expecting him to receive some kind of communication as to what is happening and if they required anymore evidence. Is it protocol to send evidence? Or do some people not have to?

I didn't send any EXTRA evidence after requesting the expedite. Luckily i was smart enough to include all the evidence when i filed my i-130 so i didnt have to send in any extra and neither did they ask me for any. The Phone rep told us not to contact them again as they will COMMUNICATE the result of our expedite request to us within 5 business days. It's been over 2 weeks now but we havent recieved any communication. However, since i had an account on the USCIS website i got the same 3 updates that you got in that precise order. If i were you, i would call the USCIS number and check the automated case status by entering the Receipt number. Coz when i got these updates i was confused at to what this meant and i called the USCIS, entered my receipt number and voila, it told me my case has been ACCEPTED :D :D :D

I'd suggest you do the same and if that doesnt give you an answer, wait 5 days and see what happens!
