Feb 2009 - Called USCIS to see what the heck was goin' on...

FEB 20th 2009 - Received email - GC on the way!

I am APPROVED for the 10 year PR Card!

12/05/05 NVC received application! (say 2-4 week wait)
12/13/05 Found out forms were sent to London on 12/08/05!
12/20/05 Packet 3 received!
01/11/06 Medical - Knightsbridge London
01/18/06 Sent back packet 3!
02/15/06 Received packet 4!

02/13/06 INTERVIEW DATE 03/22/06 AT 10.30AM!! - APPROVED

Married July 29th 2006!!

08/17/2006 Filed for AOS and EAD
08/26/2006 NOA1 received for both (dated 08/24/06)
09/06/2006 RFE email.....not sure what for yet!
9/07/2006 Biometrics completed
10/13/2006 Transferred to CSC!!
11/02/2006 Approval email received!!
11/08/2006 Welcome to USA letter arrives!

11/13/2006 GREEN CARD RECEIVED - NO MISTAKES!!!!

06/06/08 Family moved back to UK!!

Husband gained UK citizenship September 2015

My boy in Ohio is telling me about temperatures my English-girl brain can't even comprehend. The sum total of my winter experience there so far was 10 days shut up indoors while it snowed and froze outside - something tells me I'm in for a massive shock next winter...

Anyway... what I actually wanted to say was that a) those pictures are soooo pretty (and no doubt so much prettier when you don't have to experience the coldness involved in actually being there to take them) and B) I can't believe that such enormous icicles could be supported by those poor frozen rose (?) bushes - I was staring and staring, and how they're staying upright is beyond me! :blink:

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

grass is always greener....it's colder than (insert whatever cliched expression you want here) and I would looooooooove to live in some warm weather for a while...sick of the cold already! M. :)

27 Apr 07: Got Married

14 May 07: Received SSN

04 June 07: GOT A JOB!!

16 June 07: Wedding Reception in San Francisco

13 August 07: Got new EAD

23 November 07: Adjustment of Status approved

25 December 07: First white Christmas EVER!!!!

27 Apr 08: First Wedding Anniversary

4 July 08: Mt Rushmore for 4th July

27 April 09: Second Wedding Anniversary

October 09: Hoping to visit Australia

It was -16 here most of last week :D Actually, it was colder than Alaska...I don't know if those rose bushes are going to come back to life this year or not...ya know? :P We will see! Go out for more than ten minnutes and you're at risk of getting frostbite...
