Well, my case finally changed to "Ready" today. I have been annoying my embassy this week with emails about it being there as it's been "In Transit" for a week now. I figured I didn't wait on them to reply or send Packet 3 since it's just a download link. I think they will be happy to be rid of me. ... As long as they send Packet 4 quickly at least. ;) Finally submitted it, and now I just need to book an interview. I'm nervous that it won't be until October at this point. :(

hey I am the same been in 'transit' for 5 days I have all the packet three docs ready do I just send them ????? What did you do? Can you send a link of the download of packet 3 there is nothing on Dublins embassy Web site. I know you interview date is far away but how did you get an appt date so quickly??? Any advice would be great ...freaking out :/

Are you saying that the status has not updated to ''ready'' acknowledging your case is at the embassy? It's possible it's there, it's just not logged in the system yet. But I suppose you could give the embassy a poke via email or phone (not sure how helpful or phone responsive this embassy is).

Yuna...Thank you for your help but there is nothing on the cite pertaining to packet three at all....I have looked....any packet three pdf would be great from anywhere .... I have been in transit for 5 daY's...They emailed today to say it is not received and to contact nvc :( ..They are email only and only confirm receipt and ignore all other Qs..I have everything done birth cert. Ds160 affidavit of support and supporting documents....medical..

Police cert..... I wonder how other people bypassed the hard copy packet 3 ?????? Is there a notice of readiness pdf online ???? I'd like to send everything in once my status changes to ready !!! Rather than wait for a hardcopy packet three ...

Not every embassy has a notice of readiness, Dublin may not (perhaps that's why it doesn't mention it on the website) so that's why there really isn't a PDF that exists of packet three. You don't *need* a packet three to proceed, as long as you know your case is at the embassy. If the embassy is telling you it's not there, then you cannot proceed, and you won't get a packet three anyway. Since the embassy is saying they don't have it, you'll need to poke the NVC and confirm from them that they have actually SENT the case to the embassy. Now if you know WHEN they sent it out, you might be able to track it via DHL to see when it got to the embassy.

Your signature says left NVC on the 13th. Is that confirmed? If it left on the 13th, you'll need to give it at least to next week for it to turn up in Dublin, and maybe a few more days after that not counting weekends.

I have a friend from this site who I talk to daily off the site going through Dublin. She just received packet 3 by email yesterday. I think her case was in transit for 9 days. Seems longer than it should be but as soon as she got the email packet 3 her status changed to ready.

The packet was long with full instructions. It does have a readiness form at the end that needs to be mailed back via regular mail, not email. Once Dublin receives that, she was told the interview would be scheduled and would be 1-4 weeks later.

Go ahead and schedule and attend the medical. Her fiancé did his while their status was in transit. He has to go back, get his results and hand carry them to the interview.

Correction: It looks like her status was in transit for 7 days. I'm keeping a timeline of both our progresses. You're almost there. I bet you get the packet 3 email early next week. In the meantime, get the medical going. Note that my friend is the USC so it's possible maybe your fiance will get the packet 3 email instead of you.

Thanks, guys! Luckily I randomly stumbled upon (after refreshing every 5 minutes all day) a new interview date. September 15th! It is only 2 weeks earlier, but it didn't make me cry, so I feel better about it. Lol. Being so close to the end makes it feel harder I think.

Jessacott, you were lucky with Montreal! An interview in less than a month. YAY!!

Allie, how does it feel?! MARRIED!! Hooray!!

April, still no interview? Have you yelled at someone at the embassy yet?

Gill&Grant... That DHL tracking trick causes more stress. Believe me. ;) Though we have different embassies, mine sat at in transit for about a week before they finally scanned it in. It's a horrible wait to that wait.

Congrats Allie and Santy!!!! You started the aos papers yet?

Glad you got to move the interview up a couple weeks misspearls. 2 weeks is definitely something in my book.

So close jdwright! Exciting! Let us know what it was like.

No interview for us yet. Daniel had a few weeks delay doing his medical so we lost a little time there. We're expecting to get our interview letter by the end of next week hopefully. I wish I could just schedule it myself but not how London does it. I'm expecting the interview to be around the last couple weeks of August but I'll let everyone know when we know lol. Wedding is set for October 16 so we we aren't stressed about that. Still wanna get this finished and move on though like all of us do.
