guys im new here in this site. I hope i post this in the exact place. I was interviewd last feb 24 and my consul put me in AR he gave me a bond paper and check WAIT TILL YOU HEAR FROM US. he didnt ask any additonal documents from us and until now i didn t hear from them. I dont know the reason why i am being put in AR. Its been 2 weeks already. :crying::crying::crying: what should we do please help. thanks for reading

Am sorry to hear that :( There is little one can do when one is under AR but to wait. I hope it is resolved soon for you.

AR is not uncommon at all...especially from asian and middle eastern countries...its basic, and shouldnt last all that long...2 weeks isnt bad, as i know some people who were stuck for 6 months and all...yours shouldnt take that long, but i recommend emailing the embassy and keep inquiring about your case...good luck

Just a normal thing in the Philippines ........we were put on AR and after 3 weeks called the number in the U.S. and found they had requested one of those CENOMAR things and was told that can take from one to three weeks ............so just hang on and all will be fine :thumbs:

Did they keep your passport? I would think that by having you pay DELBROS that you are only being delayed because they haven't received a document or something from an inquiry, maybe from the NBI. Anyway, I wish you good luck. :D

Hang in there and hopefully your AR will finish soon. They are doing background checks and once completed they will issue your visa. Very common in Middle East/ Asian countries.
