fiance has moved, what shall I tell at POE

Hi vj members. Here is a question my fiance and I don't know how to answer.

He found a job in another city. So, we have different address from the address that was originally in petition. I know that at poe I definitely will be asked if the address is the same or not.

Did anybody face the same situation? Will I be asked about extra support documents as a new lease of my fiance or his empl

oyment letter from the current company?

Or it's better not to mention the new address at all?

People are allowed to move in USA

if they ask the address just give them the address you know, Either the new address if you have it or the old address

From what I have seen the immigration officer at POE are not the sharpest tools in the shed when it comes to immigration issues.

How do you know that at the POE you will DEFINITELY be asked if the address in the petition is the same as your fiance's current one?

Regardless, I (the petitioner) moved after our NOA2 and before my then-fiancee arrived and it wasn't any issue anywhere. No extra documentation needed. While she was asked where I lived during her interview, she wasn't asked at the POE.

Just be honest if you're asked those questions.

Just be honest if you are asked. When we went through POE the only thing the immigration officer asked about was in relation to getting married within the 90 days. No questions were asked about our address.

Same experience here, I was never asked about any address concerns at POE. Just our wedding plans and (jokingly) if I really wanted to marry my husband.
