We received our interview date which is April 16th. I have read so many different things here and on the embassy web site that I am asking for clarification of the interview process. The medical exam and the interview-are they done at the same time over a two day period? I just read a post where ones physical was about a week prior to the interview. Packet 4-I was told that my fiance does it online-yet I read just now where someone said you have to have two copies, etc... If its online is she going to print copies of what she filled out online and then bring them with her? I read the embassy's packet four information and it does not address these issues. Again and as always thank you so much for your responses and support. We are almost there and I have to tell you it feels so good right now.

The medical is scheduled one week prior to the interview. some take the medical earlier in case any problems are found, so that they can be taken care of. the medical itself is done in one day. most of the time you need to go back the next day for the vaccinations. the DS-156 is the form you will do online. print out two copies. a third page will be printed containing a barcode. make sure to save it. the DS forms will be submited the day you have the interview. why don't you check the the Manila Embassy Interview thread in the Embassy forum. Sheriff Uling's signature has many helpful links.

Medical exam should be done at least one week before the interview. What I did since my husband was my fiancée then came to see me anyway in Manila of November 2006 I just go ahead have my medical exam. I came to Manila ahead of time before he arrives from US on November 8, 2006. (By the way I am also from Davao City). We are anticipating then that my interview will be between January or February 2007. I went to St. Lukes Extension Center November 6, 2006 without an appointment letter. I show the guard my manila case number and they let me go ahead with my medical exam. My packet 4 was delivered in Davao on November 7 when I was still in Manila I was interviewed at US Embassy in Manila on January 03, 2007. My passport with a visa was delivered at Davao on January 08, 2007.

I think it will best for her to do the medical exam ahead of time if possible, just in case she will undergo some more test she have time to do the necessary thing before the interview. Otherwise if she does it 2 days before the interview chances are if there will be more tests needed her interview might be post pone. Medical exam is valid for 6 months.

God Bless..

If you have some more question regarding medical, CFO & interview feel free to write me at mgvinson@hiwaay.net . I will glad to help.

Thanks
