June Visa Bulletin Released....F2A moves 01 October 2013

Hey Guys...June VB is released and F2A moves to 01 Oct 2013...One Month movement...

Other month, for me it´s slow they don´t let advance more than that. I´ll hope that they finished with all F2A´s 2013, before end this FY 2015.

My priority date is April 1, 2014. Can anybody please tell me when can I expect to hear back from NVC. The last I heard from them was "no visa number available at this time, we will contact you."

....hence the problem....too many cases that are yet case complete and their PD are current or very close to being current.....

Friends....did any one noticed the below mentioned NOTE section in this month's VB:

Please Note: Applicants entitled to immigrant status become documentarily qualified at their own initiative and convenience. By no means has every applicant with a priority date earlier than a prevailing cut-off date been processed for final visa action. On the contrary, visa allotments are made only on the basis of the total applicants reported documentarily qualified each month, compared with the amount of available numbers under the respective annual limits. For example, during the past month, over 20,000 applicants who have become documentarily qualified in the Family preference categories have priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates established for May. Demand for visa numbers can fluctuate from one month to another, with the inevitable impact on cut-off dates.

is this an indication for any upcoming retrogression again..... :( or am just reading too much between the lines.... :unsure:

If you read it from beginning it talk about Mexico and Philippines only and they said it clearly it might have retrogression

Mexico:

Family-sponsored Fourth preference: It has been necessary to slightly retrogress this cut-off date to March 1, 1997 in an attempt to hold number use within the annual limit.

Philippines:

Family-sponsored First preference: This cut-off date had been advanced very rapidly during the past year in an effort to generate sufficient demand to fully utilize all available numbers. The resulting increase in demand has required the retrogression of this cut-off date for the month of June, in an attempt to hold number use within the annual limit for this preference category.

Employment-based Third and Third Other Worker preference: Continued heavy applicant demand for numbers has required a second retrogression of these cut-off dates. Further corrective action cannot be ruled out.

I think that's applicable for F4 and F1 category only not F2A...

Only for F4 and F1, i dont think F2A will retrogress soon because no big movement has been made in this category for the last several months.. Thats why if u think about it, 30-45 days movement is better than a big jump because for sure it will result a retrogress after.

NVC shall contact you once your PD is close to be current within 2/3 months earlier...best of Luck!!

I think its slow! As i read on some blog that there might be a big jump expected for june visa bulletin.. but nothing as such happened! Hoping for atleast 2 or 3 months movement for july visa bulletin!

I agree that there will be a big jump in the last quarter!

If they are truly trying to use up all of this fiscal year's visas (as opposed to transferring the unused to the EB category), the VB has to jump to 2015!! There are just simply too many cases that are not case complete from 2013. Way too many...
