Hmm,

How did you get this info? I faxed them yesterday and no response yet, I'd really like to know where things stand with our case. Did you call or Fax ? I hope you will hear something soon on your case so you too can get out of limbo like the rest of us.

Great News, but were those filed before/after Jan 23 2007?

BEFORE JAN 23 2007

ALL FILES WERE I-130 APROVED PETITIONS ON DCF IN THE US EMBASSY IN PARIS WITH FINAL INTERVIEWS APOINTMENT LETTER SCHEDULED BEFORE JAN 23 2007 , COZ THE NEW LAW ''ADAM WALSH''ON JAN 23 2007 ALL THE FINAL APOINTMENTS WERE POSTPONED AND THE PARIS US EMBASSY HAD TO SEND TO THE USCIS ROMA OFFICE ALL THE PENDING APROVED DCF I-130 PETITIONS FOR AN PETITIONNERS BACKGROUND CHECK...

AND SOME ARE BACK TODAY FROM ROMA.

i just called the uscis office in Roma to understand why some files are already back to paris and some are not coz when i called last week they told me that all petitions will be send back together...

she told me that they sent back to Paris first petitions packet and the second packet will be send back by next week. i thought the us embassy in Paris sent all dcf petitions in same time to the uscis office in Roma but its seems not to be the fact.

I guess the first back packet petitions are the dcf petitioners who did it in december 2006 or november 2006 in the us embassy in Paris.

i keep my finger crossed...

Hi,

I just called the Paris Embassy and they said that our petition was one of the ones returned and our interview date has been set for April 24th. Our original interview date was for january 31. Now we have to decide if we use our tickets for March 12 which we can't reimbourse, and my husband comes back alone and waits for the interview, knowing he'll miss his sons 1st B-day or if we postpone our trip and wait it all out here.

At least we know the interview date. we'll figure the rest out tonight.
