Filed N-400 April of this year, PCSing to Japan in September

well, I filed for naturalization last april 21st. Nebraska Service Center just received my application on the 29th. I still don't have the NOA. If we're already in Japan, should I just file for change of address? I'm afraid my application would still be in process by the time we leave.

As soon as your application arrives at your local processing center, you can schedule an InfoPass and explain your situation to the USCIS people, and they might be able to help you by giving you an early interview date. Make sure you take all your documents to the InfoPass (passport used to enter the US, GC, orders with your name on them, etc).

K1 Visa in 2013

AOS in 2014

N-400 in 2015 {based on Section 319(b) INA}

I haven't scheduled an INFOPASS yet. Does it take long to get an appointment date? We only have a month til we leave the area and I'm still in line for an interview. The military helpline is not much of a help as well. They keep telling me to call in a week everytime I call them. And they did not advice me to make an INFOPASS as well.
