Thats great, congrats to those of you who received your interview date. Not sure if I'm in the right spot but I've filed via DCF and am waiting for my Montreal interview - apparently with the new "Adam Walsh law" things are being delayed - are any of you in the same situation? I'm just wondering if the DCF filers interviews are beginning to get scheduled...

10/13/2006 Sent Packet 3 back to Montreal via registered mail

11/01/2006 Called Montreal - said interview would be scheduled Jan/Feb

01/10/2007 Called Montreal - said interview would be scheduled in Feb

02/06/2007 Called Montreal - were told communication was coming

02/10/2007 Rec'd letter from Montreal re: Adam Walsh Act delays

03/13/2007 Rec'd letter from Montreal saying we're clear from Adam Walsh and back on track

03/15/2007 Rec'd email from Montreal saying interview would be scheduled in next 4-12 weeks

Unknown Finally had interview in Montreal - passed!

Unknown Got green card in the mail

unknown Applied for & rec'd SSN

08/20/2007 Moved to the USA

03/01/2009 Starting sending in my I-751 removal of green card conditions

Hey guys -

Quick question. I call the Montreal consulate to find out if the interview date has been scheduled, but I noticed you called the NVC. Is that a better phone number to call or is it because it is a different visa? (mine is a K-1)

Different visa. NVC schedules CR-1s with Montreal. For K1 or K3, you have to contact the consulate I'm afraid.

K3 Timeline - 2006-11-20 to 2007-03-19

AOS & EAD Timeline

2007-04-16: I-485 and I-765 sent to Chicago (My AOS/EAD checklist)

2007-04-17: Received at Chicago

2007-04-23: NOA1 date (both)

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!
